Sadness Covers the City Like a Blanket

The Phnom Penh International Church of Christ is helping the victims’ families in the deadly disaster in which close to 400 died and more are injured. Last night, in coordination with other relief workers, 1000 meals and bottles of water were distributed to different hospitals where family members await word on their loved ones. The note below is a personal account from Cindy Fetherman who recently moved with her husband Don from Guam to Cambodia where Don serves as the CFO of the Sihanouk Center of Hope Hospital.

Ari and Damianus – Finding The Purpose of Life

Damianus was a student in a private university in Medan. He also worked as a barber to support his studies. His activities consumed all of his time from morning till night.

At work, he had a friend named Ari Zai (a brother in the East Single Ministry). Damianus knew Ari for two years and Ari often invited him to come to the church meetings, but he always rejected it because his time was full. Then Ari stopped inviting him, he thought Damianus was not interested in God.

Jakarta Church Celebrates 20th Anniversary at Southeast Asia Conference

20 years ago a small church was planted by faith in Jakarta, Indonesia, the capital of the largest Muslim nation and fourth most populous country of the world . God grew this mustard seed of faith into a church of over 1200 disciples and another 20 congregations throughout the islands.
