OYC: Your People, My People

This week we celebrate the wedding of a disciple who met her husband on a One Year Challenge! As Ruth said to Naomi in Ruth 1:16, "Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God, my God," our sister Terra decided to marry a local brother at her One Year Challenge site. She loves his country's people not only as a disciple, but also as a devoted wife.oyc weddingThe wedding ceremony was conducted almost completely in the OYC site's local language, evidence of Terra's love for her new husband and his homeland. We honor this sister, as well as many other disciples who wholeheartedly love all the nations in this way.

BudapestheaderDear brothers and sisters,

We are very excited to invite you to come to Budapest, Hungary this summer. On the first weekend of July we will be hosting two great conferences at the same time.

Dare to Dream Again will be the theme for the 2013 Eastern European Missions Conference. Although the primary goal of the conference is to provide a place for disciples from our region to reconnect, get inspired and encouraged, the conference is open to all disciples who want to attend. We believe that God is calling us to look forward with faith in him to the future he is leading us to and to be dreamers who will change our countries for eternity.

At the same time the 2013 European Singles Conference, iConnect will also be hosted in Budapest. It will be a great opportunity for all European singles to get together and get connected. We believe that through these relationships God will work powerfully to make all of our singles ministries fruitful.

At the conclusion of both conferences we will celebrate the Budapest church’s 20th Anniversary. We are excited to have you take part in that.

Please, make plans to attend!
