June 15, 2015 – HOPE worldwide Nepal is continuing to help ease the suffering of communities impacted by the devastating earthquake that rocked their nation almost two months ago. We are happy to report that HOPE worldwide has leveraged the initial donations to obtain and distribute critical relief supplies valued at US $300,000. As a result, 8,600 blankets, 3,300 tarp shelters and approximately 44,000 pounds of food supplieshave been distributed to those in need.
HOPE worldwide looks forward to continuing disaster response efforts in Nepal. At the present time, long-term plans are being made, which may include an investment in helping rebuild communities.
A special "thank you" to our partners for your support in making these efforts possible: ALPA-S, History Channel, International Churches of Christ, Silk Air, Singapore Airlines, and Times Foundation.
