Head to South Florida this November, where we’re still celebrating summer. Pack your golf clubs for a good cause!
The third annual Celebration of Caring Golf Classic, which benefits HOPE worldwide Bolivia and the Hospital Arco Iris, is scheduled for Friday, November 13, at Key Biscayne’s Crandon Park Golf Course.
Last year’s tournament raised $42,500 to improve healthcare for street children, orphans and other impoverished individuals in the La Paz community. The tournament has raised a total of $70,000+ in its first two years.
The Crandon Park Golf Course, located on an island off of Miami, is considered one of the most picturesque par-72 courses in Florida. Golfers will be surrounded by tropical foliage, mangroves and breathtaking views of Biscayne Bay as they encounter seven saltwater lakes and challenging sand traps during their round.
The individual entry fee is $375. In addition, there are four levels of Celebration of Caring sponsorships: Platinum ($5,000); Gold ($3,500); Silver ($2,500), and Bronze ($1,500) available and all include entry fees for a foursome, except the Platinum level, which includes two foursomes.
Corporate hole sponsorships are available with logos for $250.
Those who don’t golf can also assist in bringing hope and health care to the children of Bolivia by donating via the tournament website at www.CelebrationofCaring.com.
The website includes tournament information, a registration portal and links to videos, stories and blogs about the work in La Paz.
Former Florida residents Dr. Kevin and Noelle Broyles lead HOPE worldwide Bolivia, where mobile medical units provide most of the medical outreach to children in the second poorest country in the western hemisphere.
News from Bolivia
This fall the Centro Médico Internacional Hope clinic will celebrate their grand opening on October 3, 2015. The clinic will serve the affluent Zona Sur section of La Paz. The profits from this high-quality care medical facility will provide a sustainable stream of revenue to help fund the 20+ programs of Hospital Arco Iris and HOPE worldwide Bolivia. This clinic is the first step in creating a social enterprise that will support Bolivia's vulnerable populations, and children in need for years to come. The clinic's website is here: http://www.cmihope.com/
We look forward to seeing you at the Celebration of Caring!
