Gateway City ChurchThe Gateway City Church is hiring summer interns to work with our Youth & Family Ministry. We are seeking disciples who are motivated by God to:

  • Seek and save the lost

  • Strengthen other Christians

  • Grow in their own walk with God

  • Receive training in ministry

  • Build new relationships outside their own congregations

Summer internship details

Dates: May 16, 2016 - August 8, 2016

Housing: Gateway City Church families will provide free housing for our summer interns

Training: Interns will meet daily with our ministry staff for training


  • Work in the Youth & Family ministry

  • Disciple teens

  • Outreach and study the Bible with non-Christians

  • Attend and help coordinate ministry and church events

Reach2016: In addition to regular responsibilities, you will have a unique opportunity to serve alongside both our staff and members, prior and during Reach2016, the North American Discipleship Summit. Like all members of Gateway City Church, interns would be expected to finance their own registration and housing for Reach2016.

Transportation: You will need to have reliable transportation for the summer.

Pay: Interns will be paid a monthly salary.

Opportunity: We hope to provide a summer of challenge, inspiration and growth. Many of our past interns have gone on to work in full-time ministry or other leadership roles in their home churches.
