Burlington, Vermont Mission Team Being Formed

For much of its 18-year history, the Burlington Church has been without staff leadership. Despite the challenges that represents, there are two dozen faithful disciples loving God and preaching the Word in Burlington, VT. As of this year, the IMS and the New England churches are investing in the Burlington mission in a fresh and exciting way. This summer we will send Mike and Kristen Balzer to lead the Burlington church. The Balzers are currently on staff in the Portland, ME church and have been integral to the success of that work.

There is an opportunity for an additional 10-20 disciples to accompany them. Brothers, sisters, and families that want to go for a season, for a year, or simply move in order to help build a great church on the mission field. If you are interested in potentially being part of a mission church one day or specifically in the Burlington Mission please contact us! If you are interested in moving to Vermont to help strengthen the church, contact Mike Balzer at  This email address is being protected from spambots. Copenhagen, Denmark - A One-Year Challenge City

Disciples that love the lost and that are looking for a way into the mission field are needed all over the globe. At Disciple Adventures, we connect eager brothers and sisters with disciples that are planting new churches, building new campus ministries, and advancing God’s Kingdom through our one-year challenge program.

One of these one-year challenge cities is Copenhagen, Denmark. It is a city of 1.9 million people with 26 universities. These universities are home to approximately 150,000 students. The new campus ministry leaders, Landon and Gina Rawson, need dedicated disciples to take up the one-year challenge and help them build up a campus ministry that can begin the huge task of reaching these lost students.

Next Stop: Myrtle Beach!

After much prayer, the churches of South Carolina are excited to see God advancing our plans for planting a church in Myrtle Beach this fall!

"How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
Romans 10:14-15

"It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel where Christ was not known..."

Romans 15:20

So far we have served in Mexico, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Jamaica and the Bahamas. This Thanksgiving, there is vacancy for Trinidad.
