This week we celebrate the wedding of a disciple who met her husband on a One Year Challenge! As Ruth said to Naomi in Ruth 1:16, "Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God, my God," our sister Terra decided to marry a local brother at her One Year Challenge site. She loves his country's people not only as a disciple, but also as a devoted wife.oyc weddingThe wedding ceremony was conducted almost completely in the OYC site's local language, evidence of Terra's love for her new husband and his homeland. We honor this sister, as well as many other disciples who wholeheartedly love all the nations in this way.

This week, we are featuring a special edition of the OYC Guys. Brian interviews Brittany and Dillon, who came to the same One Year Challenge site, served in ministry together, fell in love and eventually married.

What We're Reading Today From Brothers, We Are Not Professionals: "Banish professionalism from our midst, Oh God, and in its place put passionate prayer, poverty of spirit, hunger for God, rigorous study of holy things, white-hot devotion to Jesus Christ, utter indifference to all material gain, and unremitting labor to rescue the perishing, perfect the saints, and glorify our sovereign Lord." Each week we post a selection from a book disciples who are considering going on a One Year Challenge could read as part of their preparation.
