The thought of celebrating Valentine's for some is just reiterating that fact that you are single. But forget that! It's time to party!

The Kiev Church of Christ invites you to join us on April 29 – May 2, 2017 in Odessa, Ukraine for "Wings - 2017 Ukrainian Singles Conference." We are excited to see you in our beautiful country!

The Singles Service Team is proud to represent single disciples and singles ministries around the world, and to channel the unique perspectives and passions that the undivided devotion of single disciples brings to the body of Christ and to the world. We are working hard to extend their influence in their local congregations and beyond. What a joy and an honor it is to serve this dynamic ministry!

Many people climb mountains as part of a spiritual journey.

For me, a love for adventure, nature (mountains in particular), and a desire to connect with disciples from foreign churches drove my recent successful climb up Mount Kilmanjaro, Africa’s highest peak.

Ditto for the rest of my team: Lauri Hallila and Ylva Lindqvist from Helsinki, Finland, and Alex Scherer and Doris Walter from Zurich, Switzerland.

Having been to Mount Everest’s base camp in 2011, these four friends had been planning on climbing Mount Kilmanjaro. I was swept up in their enthusiasm and buoyed by their experience.

Although my journey up famous peaks was new, my involvement with Tanzania, home of Mt. Kilmanjaro was not.

No doubt the recent US elections evoked mixed emotions and sent reverberations across the globe.

Nowhere was this most felt than in America's northern neighbor, Canada.

In an article originally published in Relevant Magazine, Stewart Escalona, a single professional disciple in the Toronto Church, Toronto, Canada, shares a spiritual perspective on this historically significant event.

With refreshing clarity, Stewart invites readers to dig deeper and consider the events from an eternal perspective. Stu is a professional writer and rapper. He is also part of the staff of the Toronto Church, where he has worked primarily with the youth and family ministry. His passion is to present the gospel in new and creative ways for people to connect.

New Editors of the DT Singles Page

My name is Damali Abrokwah.  I serve alongside my husband, Michael as part of the staff of the Toronto Church, in the beautiful city of Toronto, Ontario in Canada. We are thrilled to come on board as the new editors of the Singles page on Disciples Today.

In this role we continue the formidable work done by Adam and Bethany Smith, Evangelist and Women’s Ministry Leader in Dallas, Texas, to bring stories of amazing adventures singles are living all over the world.

Mike and I have been disciples for over 20 years. We are blessed to raise three super heroes with powers that change every couple of weeks!

No doubt one of the highlights of our journey has been the joy of working alongside the single professional ministry in Toronto for the past 15 years. The over 200-strong singles ministry in Toronto boasts a striking diversity that mirrors the city in which we live. Did you know that Toronto was voted ‘the most diverse city in the world’ in 2014?
