Recently the world has been boiling from terrorist attacks and evil spreading everywhere and especially in the Middle East. The latest news that hit us hard were the genocides against Egyptian Christians carried by terrorist groups.
That instilled fear and doubts of whether the Middle East Arab Conference 2017 should take place in Egypt or elsewhere. Yet God has shown us throughout the years, through our experience with wars, explosions and terrorism that "He is able to make all grace abound to us, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, we may have an abundance for every good deed." --2 Corinthians 9:8
Definitely Satan tried to paralyze us and make us feel that we should not join the conference. But faith overcame and the conference was successfully held in its arranged time and place. 251 disciples attended from Jordan, Lebanon, Sudan, Egypt and USA. What added to our joy was witnessing two conferences done at the same time, one for the youth and another for the adults. The Middle Eastern Youth Camp had 65 people attending it. Many were so touched by the "Recharge" messages given to them.
As for the Middle East Arab Conference 2017, it was so convicting and encouraging to witness speakers from different regions of the world sharing messages related to the conference title "God is Able." Our faith was built because we felt God's presence powerfully during those few fruitful days.
We kindly urge you to keep praying for our churches in the Middle East as the days are getting more evil. "Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think." --Ephesian 3:20
