“Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." – Romans 12:2
“Change” is an all too familiar call in our current culture. In January, the world watched a Women’s March protest for change in laws and policies; on March 8, the 2017 International Women’s Day issued a “Be Bold for Change” campaign. As Christian women, we know that when life happens, only God’s Spirit empowers us to go beyond change, to actually be “transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
I believe there is a sweet spot in our relationship with God that is a refuge and a guide to us in the many and diverse difficulties in our lives. From the heavy duty issues like grappling with a terminal illness, a debilitating accident, a broken marriage, depression, or to the prickly thorns of our insecurities and the stresses of everyday relationships and activities.
