A Powerful Sisterhood

Life is a journey that often takes unexpected turns. Some of these fill us with a sense of adventure, optimism and an indomitable spirit. Other turns can leave us perplexed, challenged and even defeated. We can feel alone. It is easy to feel that no one understands us or relates to us. Facing these moments with spiritual eyes and hearts can be a challenge to us all. These are defining moments that build our lives and our characters, influencing the rest of our lives.

Fortunately, we are not alone. God has graciously “given us everything we need for living a godly life” (2 Peter 1:3). When we turn to God’s Word during these moments, scriptures take on new meaning, direction and power for our lives.

We are not alone because not only do we have God’s guidance, but our sisterhood is a powerful bond. We can learn, grow, and overcome with the help and support of our sisters.

Two are better than one because they get more done by working together. If one falls down, the other can help him up. But it is bad for the person who is alone and falls because no one is there to help. An enemy may defeat one person, but two people together can defend themselves. A rope that is woven of three strings is hard to break. (Ecclesiastes 4:9,10,12 (NCV))

Our goal in “Inside Out” is to address relevant life issues with sound, insightful, scriptural teaching. Some of us have already faced challenges that may lie ahead for others. Each of us has a story. By sharing our lives and our stories, our victories and our defeats, we can strengthen each other and help each other walk through life with God.

Some of the subjects we will address include:

  • A Grieving Heart
  • Protecting your Health
  • Raising a Child with Special Needs
  • Facing Depression as a Teen
  • An Overcoming Spirit in the Face of Cancer
  • Caring for Aging Parents
  • Protecting the Emotional Health of our Children
  • Mysterious Menopause

Please feel free to email us with any other needs or to submit articles with relevant topics.

We are thrilled to be part of something that will unite and strengthen our sisterhood. We need each other. Together we make one great disciple.
