Well Water SmaritanIn the first three studies we looked at Bruised Reeds , Gentleness is Strength and Doubting Thomas Sees Glory. This study, number four, is "I Can Make a Difference."

Passage/person: John 4: 1-42 / The woman at the well

Memory scripture: "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!" -- 2 Corinthians 5:17

Key thought: God has enabled me to have eternal impact with the choices I make.

Points to discuss:

  1. How did this woman see herself?

  2. We don't even know her name, but about 2000 years later we don't call her "a woman at a well" but "the woman at the well". Why?

  3. Was Jesus gentle here? What are some ways we have grown in our gentleness?

  4. How has the class helped you?

  5. How has the class caused you to help others?

  6. What is one thing you did during the class that you want to keep doing?

a) Who is someone not taking the class you will share with about this lesson?

b) Who is someone taking the class you will fellowship with at least once this week and talk about the class?
