Hope Scouts Lead the Way

Isabel and her mother proudly wear the Hope Scouts logo.
When Isabel was seven years old, she had a dream to be like Jesus. Her parents are active HOPE worldwide volunteers and she knew that serving others was the right thing to do. She believed that children of all ages can make a difference in this world. That was how Hope Scouts began. Together, Isabel and other children in her church, with the encouragement of her parents and their local HOPE worldwide Chapter, helped Hope Scouts officially begin in January of 2013.

Today, many HOPE worldwide Chapters are establishing Hope Scout troops. With a mission to enhance the lives of people in need by providing community-based services through activities that will foster a spirit of teamwork and friendship, and the desire to make a difference in this world, these elementary, middle school and high school students from different ethnic, geographic and socio-economic backgrounds are leading the way for a new generation of servant leaders.

How can you help?

  1. Encourage your child – Talk to them about the benefits and rewards of becoming a Hope Scout

  2. Sign up and participate – Participate, together with your child in outreach efforts to serve people in need.

  3. Become a leader – Become active as a parent leader and participate by finding creative ways to serve

  4. Start your troop – Talk to your HOPE worldwide chapter to find out how to start your local Hope Scouts troop.
