More than 250 partners, staff and supporters from around the world gathered for the fifth annual HOPE worldwide Global Summit meeting in Reston, Virginia on May 16, 2009. They heard speakers celebrate the faith, heart and impact of HOPE worldwide volunteers and leaders and challenge them to make a difference in these difficult economic times.

The HOPE worldwide and Benevolence Committee May 2009 Report

The brothers and sisters on the HOPE worldwide and Benevolence Committee have continued meeting together on a monthly basis, besides having extensive individual phone calls, emails and fellowship meetings between members. Since the last update (in late January) we’ve seen God bless our work in a powerful way, with the help of your prayers.

A Family of their Own

Razak and Uttam became “Best Friends Forever” at Asharan Orphanage in New Delhi, India. Razak didn’t know why he was at an orphanage, away from his father. He slowly adjusted to his new life and learned to laugh and play. As they saw their other friends go with adoptive parents, they too wanted families of their own. This past March, both Uttam and Razak’s dreams came true – they were adopted into loving families.
