2018 Northwest US Christian Conference July 27-29
Churches in Northwest US and Western Canada will meet together July 27-29 in Spokane, Washington for the 2018 Northwest US Christian Conference. Our Real-Life Discipleship Journey
Convinced, compelled, consistent and committed because of his love.
Do we really believe and understand at a heart level that God loves us? Do we live our lives in a way that shows we are "dearly loved" (Eph 5:1)? The answer to the question can be quite different for each one of us. But it is one we need to work through in our journey, because we really are truly, deeply, dearly LOVED.
Prayers for the Scott Green Family
Scott and Lynne Green are truly heroic servants of God. As a young married couple, in 1987 they led a small team of disciples from Boston to plant a church in Hong Kong, China. That church today thrives with over 2,000 members and has planted dozens of other churches. After the Greens handed the leadership to Chinese disciples they had trained, they returned to serve the Seattle Church of Christ from 1997 – 2013. They then served our Berlin church for several years until 2017.

Sustainable Impact: The Gateway to the Arctic Camp 2016
Plant. Cultivate. Harvest. That’s the goal at the Gateway to the Arctic Camp, an agricultural camp near Talkeetna, Alaska. However, it’s not just about planting, cultivating, and harvesting vegetables. It’s about planting the seeds of character, volunteerism, and leadership in every participant. It’s about cultivating those attributes through mentorship and care. And it’s about “harvesting” that character—giving people the opportunity to practically apply it to help those in need. The end result? Amazing stories, lifelong friendships, and most importantly: needs met.

Ron and Linda Brumley's Son Appointed an Elder in Seattle
Dear Brothers and Sisters,Psalm 100:5, “For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues for all generations.”
Sunday, October 6th was an epic day in the Brumley family. As our four children were growing up our primary goal was just to help them know God and make it to heaven. This focus in their lives surmounted every other aspect of their development. It trumped academic achievement, athletic pursuits, development of any talents—everything. We asked for no grand accomplishments from any of them. We only wanted them to spend their lives close to God.
Seattle Offers "History Makers" Internship Program
What if you had a year with no work, no distractions and an intense desire to live as Jesus did? What if you spent a year of your life being trained to be a disciple capable of training others and leading leaders? Starting fall of 2013, we want to invite young men and women with an opportunity to serve full-time for a year while you live with host families in the Seattle Church and participate in local, regional and foreign missions. Our goal is that you would spend a year being trained in all aspects of the full time ministry.
